Dental Hygienist /Oral Health Therapist – Kerikeri

We have a golden opportunity for a professional hygienist / therapist to join our passionate team. Ideally you will be working five days, however this is flexible with optional evening hours. In order to step in our Hygienist/ Therapist roles you would naturally have:
* Demonstrated Hygienist experience in New Zealand.
* A positive outgoing attitude.
* Well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both our people and our clients.
* The ability to work well under pressure, to multi task and be flexible.
* Confidence with and the aptitude to learn new technology (experience with Exact is a bonus)

Please note: applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand, holding relevant Visas, Dental Council Registrations and Practicing Certificates.

NDHB’s oral health service is an integrated service providing care to an eligible preschool, school, adolescent and adult population in Northland in the community and hospital environments.

Dental Therapist/Oral Health Therapist – Far North, Northland DHB

(0.8FTE, fixed term)

We are seeking a motivated, skilled and committed Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist for a part time fixed term position.

As a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist you will need to be eligible for registration in New Zealand, have up to date clinical skills and have a current driver’s licence.

You will also possess the desire to work within our integrated Oral Health Service and to be part of a dynamic team.
Northland DHB offers the opportunity to expand your clinical skills in response to the challenging needs of the local population. Northland covers an area of 12,600 square kilometres, has a population of 170,000 and is located approximately two hours drive from Auckland.

Our four hospitals provide an extensive range of acute and elective services through our hospitals along with a significant network of community based outpatient and mental health services.
