Greetings from the Naki.

Well the Taranaki Branch is back after a few years of being “dormant”.  Thank you to Angela Henderson who returned from Hamilton who put her hand up for the branch chair role.

Since our “reformation” we have had two meetings and at the last meeting all our branch members (7) were present!  It was great to have a good catch up with every one. At this meeting a few of us who went to the NZDHA conference in Nelson reported back and in was unanimous that it was an excellent conference this year with very good speakers and topics.

As all our members are on track with their CPD points for the recertification cycle ending 2013, we decided that we won’t have any CPD meetings this year.  It was decided that we will, however have a few more branch meetings as the peer contact is so invaluable to all of us.

We are currently deciding on a time and date for our next meeting which will be in the next few weeks.  We will also have an end of year function in the form of a lunch.

I am sure all our branch members are looking forward to daylight saving and making the most of our beautiful walkway!
